A concept-driven brand identity and publication for a transformative art event
Rumblestrip transformed an under-utilised urban lot into a one-night, site specific art event. The Rumblestrip artists were looking for a brand identity and complementary publication design that embodied and communicated their ambitious concept.
We created a brand identity that was simultaneously bold and finely-detailed, informed by the roadside aesthetic of the Rumblestrip installations. This brand identity was applied at a range of scales, with the development of a website, a unique publication and various promotional materials.
For the publication, a key driver was the need to communicate everything that attendees needed to know on a single piece of paper. We designed an intricately folded chevron publication that, when folded down, would fit into a back pocket. Collectively, these publications slot together into a textured, rumblestrip formation.
