We’ve just spent an excellent weekend on Bibbulmun Country in Collie, celebrating the launch of the Collie Mural Trail.

The Collie Mural Trail is an expansive outdoor art gallery, connecting Wellington Dam with Collie’s town centre.  Showcasing the talents of leading Australian artists, the trail tells stories about the Collie River Valley’s living heritage – strong voices from local people and places.

We feel very lucky to be part of an excellent team on this project, an initiative of the State Government that’s seen collaboration and knowledge sharing taking place between community and artists over the past weeks and months. Our role has been in art strategy, artist briefing, visual and verbal identity development, website, map and graphic design.

Artists featured on the trail include Amok Island, Arif & Audrey, Jack Bromell, Jade Doleman, Jackson Harvey, Guido van Helten, Kambarni, Kyle Hughes-Odgers, Marina Lommerse with the Mural Studio, Jarrad Martyn, Mikaela Miller, Ian Mutch, Jacob ‘Shakey’ Butler, Sioux Tempestt, Tjyllyungoo and Natalie Veal.

We recommend a visit!

A big congratulations to the extended project team, and to the artists and community of Collie.
