Artist spotlight: Jamie Boyce

We were lucky to work together with five local and national artists for the Parkway Artway, an outdoor art gallery created for the community of Ellenbrook and surrounds. In our Artist Spotlight series, we’ll be sharing a bit about the artists we collaborated with and about the works they created for the project.

Emerging artist and graphic designer Jamie Boyce is originally from New Zealand, and currently based in Melbourne. She creates abstract, eye-catching and colourful designs that explore concepts of youth and playfulness, through bold colours and lively shapes. She mainly works digitally but loves to bring hand drawn aspects into her work.

Her works, Daydream and Between the Lines, were commissioned for the Parkway Artway. In the creation of these works, Jamie has used different shapes, colours and patterns to create something fun, bold, colourful, eye-catching and abstract for the community of Ellenbrook to enjoy and interact with.
