Published pieces: Future West (Australian Urbanism) Issue 8 Place Value

IMG_0404.JPG

The last of eight issues of Future West (Australian Urbanism) launched last week. This one is focused on Place Value Ashfield, the project To & Fro Studio coordinated alongside Daniel Jan Martin.

If you don’t already have a copy, you can get yourself a copy of it (and its bonus foldout) at The School of Design at UWA. Or you can take a look at it and the other seven issues here.

Over eight issues, the Future West publication has looked towards the future of urbanism, taking Perth and Western Australia as its reference point. It has investigated the themes of water, vision, density, tourism, enterprise, the regions and the public realm. It has engaged with a multitude of players (politicians, activists, architects and property developers) and drawn disciplines together (urbanism, public policy, architecture, landscape architecture, environmental sciences, finance and property).
