We’re pleased to be recent contributors to Foreground, an online publication for the people remaking our cities and places for the better.

Together with Daniel Jan Martin, To & Fro Studio Directors Loren Holmes and Rosie Halsmith contributed an article titled ‘“Doing density differently”: A new, landscape-led approach to infill housing’.

The article outlines the landscape-led approach undertaken for Place Value Ashfield. Current models of medium-density housing have led to poor environmental outcomes in Perth’s suburbs. The landscape-led approach rediscovers the collaborative value of people and place in revitalising our urban neighbourhoods.
