Refining the unique offering of an experienced landscape architecture studio
Project: Four Landscape Studio
Situation: Four Landscape Studio is a Perth-based landscape architectural practice. We worked together with the Four team to redefine their practice identity to confidently communicate their expanding catalogue of high-profile projects and established studio culture.
Results:
Together with the Four team, we identified that they have a key point of difference – their distinct expertise in the design of landscapes for education and health. In a series of workshops, we developed a central ‘key message’ to ground all visual and verbal communications, moving forward.
To kick-start this process, To & Fro worked with the Four team to create a new visual identity for the practice, along with a compressive communications suite. We designed a range of communications materials, including visual and verbal identity, website and print and digital collateral, to ensure that Four’s clarified message reached the desired audiences.
Designed with the starting point of ‘four delightful forms’ in mind, Four Landscape Studio’s new identity combines landscape-inspired textures and geometries with ideas about learning and play. The identity’s composition is a deliberately flexible system – able to expand vertically or horizontally to suit different situations.
Today, Four’s new visual and verbal identity clearly communicates a friendly, confident and experienced studio focused on creating spaces that care for people.
